Order of Omega

• Chapter of Excellence          2007, 2006, 2005 
  • This is only awarded to chapters who have exemplified the pillars of Greek Life at the University of South Carolina .  Delta Zeta has won this honor for several years in a row. 
• Outstanding Alumnae Outreach    2006
  • This award was received for Delta Zeta's annual publication, Beta Delta Bonds which is distributed to all USC Delta Zeta alumnae and all Columbia area Delta Zeta alumnae, regardless of chapter affiliation.
• Excellence in New Member Education     2007, 2005
  • Delta Zeta was awarded this distinction for their new member program, especially the Beads for the Bayou philanthropy.  This was a competition between the new member classes at USC and Clemson where the new members sold beads at a variety of events to raise money for Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.  These two new member classes raised over $10,000 for the American Red Cross.
